Rift Gold For Rift Power Leveling

In Rift power leveling there are many things that come into play if you want to power level up quickly and efficiently. One of these things is the acquisition of gold.  Rift Gold will allow you to purchase armor, weapons, mounts etc… . I found out early on in the game that it is essential to have a mount.  They will increase your travel speed (momentum speed), and this in turn will increase the speed at which everything else is done.  Besides decreasing your travel time, it’ll also make the game more fun, because you won’t have to slog everywhere.

If you’re still in the lower levels (around 10 or so), or are just beginning you’ll need to get yourself some gold in order to eventually get yourself  a mount. Also, since you’re at lower levels, you want to get to an area where there’s easy pickings and higher chances of  you getting things you can sell.

Gold Galore By Killing A Boar!

So here’s how to get your share of the gold:

Firstly head on over to Eliam’s Field. You will find this area at the coordinates 6493-4846.  If you are a Guardian, be careful, because this area belongs to the Defiants.

What your going to do here is go Wild Boar hunting.  This area is full of Boars and they are fairly easy to kill.  Why kill these poor creatures you ask?  Well, when you kill Boars, there is about 20% chance that they will leave behind Tough Sinews, or basically Boar hide.  Vendors will buy these from you for 1 gold each.  If you have a whole bunch you could make some serious coinage!

That’s not all. In this particular area there is a weapon quest called “Mutated Meat”. This quest will help you kill even more Boar and faster.  You’ll be a one man Boar slaughtering machine!

Do This With Your Rift Gold First

Once you’ve collected some Rift gold, the first thing you want to do is get yourself some bigger bags. That’s right, bigger bags!  You might even want to do this as soon as you have some cash, even before your boar hunting trip.  This is important, because a larger bag will allow you to carry more items, which will get you more gold from the vendors per trip and also save you from making frequent trips back to the vendor.

Now to get even more gold, or if you still don’t have a mount and you want one badly, go to the coordinates 6165-5483.  This is where you’re going to do some grinding.  We’re going kill us some Forest Stalkers!  These guys are easy peasy to kill, don’t cause too much damage and leave you goodies behind.  These goodies are called Length of Spider Silk and there’s a 10% chance one will get left behind.  Each one is worth 1 gold. So get as many as you can carry!

So that’s how it’s done.  All that  Rift gold will allow you to buy a mount, armor, potions, weapons, etc… .    Ultimately allowing you to power level faster in Rift.
